In 2019, trade between Russia and China amounted to 110.75 billion, which is 3.4% more than in 2018. This is evidenced by the data of the Chinese main customs department.
So, China’s exports to Russia last year grew by 3.6% and amounted to $ 49.7 billion, while Russian supplies to China grew by 3.2%, to $ 61.05 billion.
It is also reported that in December 2019, China purchased $ 5.53 billion worth of goods from Russia, while exporting $ 4.88 billion worth of goods.
As MAGNEWS previously reported, Russian President Vladimir Putin called a realistic task to increase trade between Russia and China to $ 200 billion a year.
