Joe Biden will not obey Congressional Senate agenda to impeach the president.
Former US Vice President Joe Biden is not going to testify as part of the impeachment process of President Donald Trump, Magnew writes referring to Fox News.
According to the politician, his positive response to a possible agenda of the Senate of the US Congress will give the American leader the opportunity to distract the country’s citizens from impeachment itself.
“Trump has always tried to shift his attention from his person,” Biden said.
Additionally, the ex-vice president explained that the Senate is unlikely to send him this summons at all, as that would be too impudent.
Recall, the U.S. House of Representatives voted for impeachment. Now the vote should take place in the Senate, where the Republicans have the majority.
The US president was formally accused of impeachment under two counts: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
The reason for the proceedings was the information that the American leader was putting pressure on the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, demanding that an investigation be launched against the son of Joe Biden in exchange for defrosting military assistance.
