French leader Emmanuel Macron believes that not only his country, but the entire European Union can keep its borders closed until the fall due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The President of France previously stated that in the near future it will become known about the opening of the border. He also advised people not to plan any trips outside the country in the near future, as in other countries the situation with coronavirus is also unstable.
In particular, he noted the significant rate of incidence in the United States and new cases recorded in African countries.
Macron does not exclude that France or any other EU country can keep its borders closed until the fall if the situation with the incidence and growth rate of the number of Covid-2019 infected worsens.
Recall that the number of people infected with coronavirus in France as of April 11 is 125,931. Of these, 13,215 died.
