Attorney General Barr considers resignation

US Attorney General William Barr is considering resigning after U.S. leader Donald Trump did not stop posting tweets about the activities of the Justice Ministry, the Associated Press reported, citing sources in the White House.

They report that Barr announced his desire to leave the post of Attorney General and Minister of Justice for one of the employees of the US Presidential Administration, with whom he was on good terms. It is currently unknown how serious the intentions of the prosecutor general are. Note that in the evening of February 18, his official representative said that Barr was not going to resign.

According to CNN, on February 13, U.S. Attorney General William Barr said that it became difficult for him to do his job because of Trump’s Twitter posts regarding the activities of the US Justice Department. Trump later admitted that his messages interfere with the work of the department.
