An earthquake of magnitude 5.9 occurred off the coast of the US state of California, according to the US Geological Survey.
It was reported that the epicenter of tremors was located 86 kilometers west of the territory of Petrolia. The depth of the outbreak was 2.2 kilometers. No information was received on the damage and casualties. The tsunami threat was not announced either.
As previously reported, on March 8, an earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occurred in Romania. Its epicenter was located in Buzau County. Data on possible destruction or casualties have been reported.
